Nursing Agency Booking and Payroll System
For Busy Nursing Agency Client
This is a web based system running on the clients internal server using Microsoft
IIS 7 .
The system is now large and complex but it revolves around a nurse shift booking
system, checking availability, filling shift vacancies and processing the timesheets
leading to client invoicing and payroll production.
The system works in harmony with Sage payroll to enhance the payslip reporting function
of Sage which is limited by the fact that only consolidated disclosure of total
hours worked at each pay rate can be printed on a payslip. Our system compiles the
hours worked per shift then pushes the data into Sage and our system prints the
payslip to provide the detailed shift data that is lost within Sage. All payroll
and deduction maintenance and end of year reporting is managed by SAGE.
Shifts are created and queries are raised to see which nurses could be available
to fill those shifts. A e-mail and text message is sent out to each nurse and they
can confirm their availability to fill the position by clicking on a link within
the email or by texting back to the system. Bookings are then preliminary confirmed
making it unnecessary to have any actual verbal contact with the nurse.
